The growth of railroads in America in the late 19th and early 20 centuries both helped and hindered the conservation movement in this country. With a focus on the National Parks of the west and the National Forests of the Upper Peninsula, this illustrated program will explore the role of railroads in that movement.

This program is provided by the Ottawa Interpretive Association.
